I have translated An Irish Funeral poem found in the above blog in Tamil (not exactly)

அன்புஉறவுகளே  ,எனக்காக  

வருந்த வேண்டாம்,

நான் இப்போது சுதந்திரமாக உள்ளேன் !

இறை தந்தை எனக்காக வகுத்த பாதையில் நடந்தேன்

அவன் முகத்தை பார்த்தேன் ! அவன் குரல் கேட்டேன் ! 

அப்பா என ஆசையாக அழைத்தேன் !

அவன் கரம் பற்றினேன் , அனைத்தையும்  அப்படியே விட்டேன்....

இன்னும் ஒரு நிமிடம் கூட நிற்க முடியவில்லை

அன்பு காட்டவோ ,சிரிக்கவோ, விளையாடவோ !

முடியாத வேலைகள் அப்படியே தான் நிற்கவேண்டும் !

என் பிரிவு உங்களுக்கு ஈடு செய்ய முடியா இழப்பை கொடுத்தால் !

நான் உங்களிடம் காட்டிய   அன்பையும், பாசத்தையும்,உங்கள் 

நட்பையும் , இனிய நம் உறவின் வலிமையையும் வைத்து

நிறை செய்யுங்கள் !

இனிய இவை எல்லாம் நானும் இழப்பேன் !

என் வாழ்வு நிறைவாக இருந்தது !

 முழுமையாக நான் உங்கள் அன்பு, நட்பு, கனிவு, பாசம்,சுவையான உணவு வகைகள்  இவற்றை அனுபவித்தேன் !

நன்றிகள் பல !

வாழ்ந்த காலம் சிறிது என எண்ணி வருந்த வேண்டாம் !

கண்ணீர் கடலில் உங்கள் வாழ்வை கரைத்து கொள்ள வேண்டாம் !

நம்பிக்கையில் அடியெடுத்து நாளையை எதிர் கொள்ளுங்கள் !

மன்னிப்பு , விட்டுக் கொடுத்தல் , ஒருவர் மற்றொருவர்

குறைகளுடன்

ஏற்று வாழுங்கள்  ,

என் அன்பு  பணி தொடர்வதே 

நீங்கள் எனக்கு செய்யக்கூடிய செயல் ! செய்வீர்களா ?
